Regarding the 19x10.5 +35 LE37t's posted above: they appear to have the same lip width and same concavity as my 19x10.5 +22's. Do they just cut 13mm of material off the hub mounting surface of a +22 wheel to get the offset to +35? And in that case, I suppose the mounting studs stick through farther on the +35 version than the +22 version. Maybe the lug hole depth varies with the offset so that the effective mounting stud protrusion is the same in either case.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing, compared to pictures i've seen of the +22 rears I thought these looked the same. I'm going to test fit them tonight to decide what size spacers I should go with

As a reference point, here is how mine looks. 19x9.5 +22 front with 10mm spacer (net offset +12), and 19x10.5 +22 rear with 15 mm spacer (net offset +7).

Yup, you may not need spacers because how flush you want it varies from person to person.

Mine...

I got my spacers for the rear, went with 20mm's so now it's +15 with 285/35s in the rear and I think it sits perfect. Wish I was a tad lower though, here are some crappy pics

I decided to buff out some battle scratches on my TE from a track day. Turns out, when you buff matte black, you get gloss black. So I did all four wheel to match. Now I got a set of time attack in gloss black.

No, you do realize that Varrstoens are just powder coated while Volks are not?

So polishing yours won't have the same results as someone with Volks.

Ah I see. I was under the impression they were painted because I wasn't sure if they were powdercoated or painted so I looked it up and a varrstoen rep replied "We do not offer refinishing directly from us on this particular wheels. However, you can get them powder coated. Wheels are aluminum. Recommended that the original paint be stripped before powder coating." but I guess only that particular model of the varrs are painted. Or he just miswrote that? Either way, I wonder if a buffing would have any affect at all...
