I already know the answer to the question, it is very little tire stretch. I am just asking for someone that does not know much about tire fitment and will not believe me when I tell him that is a pretty standard size for a front wheel on a 350z.

Thanks for your opinions.

His mechanic told him that a 245 should be on a 8" wheel and it would mess up the tire if you put it on a 9.5.

Of coarse this is the same guy that told me he needed spacers for his wheels to fit(19x9.5 +28et) and it turned out he just need to remove that bolt that sticks out from the rotor to align the stock wheels.

His mechanic doesn't know the car or car at all.

^No Z for me, but my father had a 350z. I sold his volks to a guy that is giving my a hard time about the 245 on a 9.5 wheel. I know there is nothing wrong with that size rim and tire combo.(I have 235s on a 9.5 on the back of my s2000)
I made this thread in the hope he would see other 350z owners opinions and realize his mechanic does not know what he is talking about.

I run a 285 on a 9.5; does that help? That's 40mm wider than your 245.
