^ Then get the same wheel but the real thing, not the knockoff. Much lighter.

Yes he's correct always remember to buy authentic parts only.

"...Np buddy, I ordered the entire kit from Auto Infantry here on the site. Actually the front was from M1 Autosports, but now those guys left and created new company called Auto Infantry. I HIGHLY recommend them!..."

I know this is an old post but after having read this and several other threads today with this word being used to described replica wheels (especially these) and body kits, i felt the need to point something out. The word Poser being used in the context that it is here. A lot of authentic pieces that are sold and put one these cars are race inspired and the intentions of their use would be for the track, if im not mistaken. So to me, the real posers would be the ones who are purchasing these "authentic" parts and never setting any rubber on the track. The guys who are actually buying the replica's, more times than not, are using these for their DD's. I admit, i fell into the world of "gotta have the real thing" however after having driven my DD ZR on the roads of Houston Texas found out that those 4K wheels and tires were taking a beating and my beautiful wheels that i payed so much for were starting to look worse than the wheels i replaced them with (OEM). Not much of a positive investment. The authentic wheels made are either made for the sporadic driving events or for show. Im by no means downing the guys who want to buy authentic pieces and not tracking their cars, but on the other hand, dont down the guys that arent. Are we forgetting that our cars were no longer in production since 2008 and that the older they get, they can no longer be considered 30-35K sports cars, but merely used 18-25K (and steadily depreciating), almost the same price as a new Nissan Cube or Altima. It just seems everyone has lost their prospective.

Your post is full of assumptions, you can't make a valid argument about what people are doing and assigning that conclusion to everyone just by observing the forum and using your own experience as an example.

I will admit that I was part of the mob who despised these wheels and was quick to assign a poser label to those who ran them but after time I realized that it just made me look like a douche so I stopped hating. As long as you're not passing them off with Volk stickers and center caps like that dude in Europe I don't have a problem with these wheels.

A good wheel repairer could have fixed your wheels like new every few years. They would have looked mint and you would have still had the lightweight and strength associated with those Advans.

Im not sure if this was directed to me..

If so, how is anyone supposed to debate their side of an argument without using past experience and observation of others???? Isnt that what forums are for is to learn about people and their experiences, whom you wouldnt normally have any association with???

We'll just agree to disagree

LOL, who else would I be referring to.

I didn't intend to invalidate your argument, I was just stating that although you may be correct for some of those who have nice wheels and hate on these it doesn't apply to everyone.

I've put about 50,000 miles on my Nismos and other than a few small barely noticeable chips they are still mint, I'm pretty **** with my things though LOL

BTW, I love those Advans, there is a slammed RX8 in my area with an SBC who parks on the street with them on.
