Default Feedback on wheel selection please

04 Silver enthusiast. I'm planning on buying the OEM Nismo gunmetal rays. But I want to go 18" with 245/40 tires all around, instead of 18/19. My reason is for money, and rotation purposes. Would I have any problems with this setup, or do you have any thoughts?

You cant rotate Nismo wheels regardless of the tire size... the rear wheels are wider than the front(Staggered). Or explain what you mean by rotation...

I mean I wanna buy 4 of the Nismo gunmetal OEM's ALL 18" instead of 18/19", it may sound silly, but I want all of the same tire size, and not spend the $ for 19" wheels and tires. So my ? is is this a good idea/thoughts...

I think thats a really stupid idea. Are you hard up for cash? How long will a set of tires last you? You sound really silly if you ask me.
Where you going to find 4 front gt wheels?

I have plenty of $. I'm gonna buy replicas. I do understand they won't be real, but I'd rather save the money and get ones that look exactly the same. I've gone through too many wheels and cars to bother spending more money on wheels than I have to.

My bad. You drive a Enthusiast with TCS? Other members with TCS have been successful with a 4-square set-up.

Well I have seen many places including eBay selling single GT wheels so he could do the square set up if he really wants to but I am guessing he is going to have defeat the lsd or some sort of fix to it since its designed for a staggered set up. And buy the real thing, you will be thanking us the first time you nail a pot hole and those fake rims shatter and run the front end of the car O.o

I think you bought the wrong car if wheel/tire rotation is this much of a concern to you.

No way dude, I used to have a Stag Mustang GT before I bought this car. Thats the reason I traded it, I'm very into handling now and the Mustang handled like a brick. Lol muscle cars are only good in a straight line.

Its not really a muscle car... its a pony car and the new ones do about a .95 g on a skid pad. I too like Mustangs... do yourself a favor don't get those wheels.

I like the 5 spoke star design, and I'm not really a fan of black rims. I'm thinking of either bronze or gunmetal for my silver Z. Do you like your Nitto's? Thats what I had on my Stang. They were good on the track but not so much on the street when it rained.
