Help with tire size plz!
i am planning on buying my girl some wheels for xmas. last year she got my some wheels for my tC so this year i wanna surprize her. she really likes the rota Grids so i am thinking of getting them on 18x10 to get the flush fitment. she has an 07 touring in white. its already slammed on stance coils. i just bought her some new vredistein tires not so long ago and are still brand new. i was woundering if i could strech those tires onto the grids? any help would be appreciated.
p.s. i know grids are reps but those are the ones she likes so gotta get them for her. oh and also i am having them powder coated pink because she has pink stockies now

Since you didn't say what size tires you bought, how on earth do you expect anybody to know if they will be stretched or not?
BTW - if she's already got pink wheels on, then it's pretty much an imperative that you post pics of the GF.

Legit question. OP said please. Sometimes no need for jokes, ridicule, or senseless crap. All the respect is only due for the OP even though he may not be interested in what you drive or what you think he should drive, stupid comments. He came for help.
Be polite and provide. What's a Nationwide Z forum for anyhow?
Looking at yr pic provided, assuming those are the OEM anniversary wheels
Front
Size: 18x8.0
Offset: +30mm
Weight: 24.4
Tire: 225/45/18
Rear
Size: 18x8.5
Offset: +33mm
Weight: 25.8
Tire: 245/45/18
Are you going to buy a staggered setup? Please provide the widths or sizes of wheel you are going to.
Im assuming 18x10 in back and perhaps 18x9 up front?
I think you in many cases are ok to go 275/30 or 35 or perhaps 285 (maybe some fender rolling if its slammed)
on a 10in wide wheel for the rears and 245/35 or 255/35 up front? Most people step to 19 or 20 depending on what you expect to do with the car and how it will be driven.
I would consult the wheel shop you plan to do business with.
All this is anyway is advice.

p.s. edit: I know personally that a stretched 245 can work fine on a 19x10"wheel but why stretch if theres no offset or rubbing issue to begin with if you get the right wheel sizes to start with.

18x10 at all 4 corners is a nice set up. You can run the same size tires all around, or stagger them. You could also run 18x9 and 18x10 - all are doable, but you should get new tires. You can sell 225/245 tires to guys with stock wheels pretty easily. Don't be afraid to ship them, it's easy.
