Everywhere you turn those wheels are stuck on some riced out Honda. My goal is to not be like the next guy.

Want to know about patients: I waited close to a year for the front bumper and skirts. 8 months for the door panels.
But thanks anyways.
So the good brands are played out, what about all the ricer civics running around with crap wheels on them. Thats the class you will be in, ricer civic with a more expensive car. Check out the new AME wheels.

Sorry, but they're not Foose. Try again?
Why Veilside? Because it's still the best looking front bumper and skirts out their.

Thanks SPL,
Can't do stretched tires, it reminds me to much of the low rider look with the wired spoke wheels. U know what I'm talking about.
I checked out the site you linked and I have to say the wheels you picked out were the best on the site, but there just not different enough.

I checked out the AME's and honestly, I don't see a big difference between the Boss and the AME?

You got a few good answers from peopl.. and one guy wabns to ask about your trophies... and you say

"Should I keep going. Or are you good?"

heres the deal.. can i just add this.. what goes thru peoples mind when they post threads like this? I simply dont get it..

You ask a group of people their opinion .. and then get mad our opinion is largely negative.

It happens over and over and over and over and over on here.

Alot of people like the same sh#t on here.. yep. And its usually becuase they are functional parts.. Works, Volks etc are extremely well built and are very light.
In most resepcts, they are the best you can get.
But the end result is that they are "played out"... mm, well i dont totally agree w that, but either way.

I cant afford that stuff.. and I cant wait for that stuff.. but then you say you are a show car and that you have waited for all your parts etc..... then wait again.. or go ahead an half #ss it like you know you are doing and still asking us if thats gonna be cool or not.. its not.

I have a Veilside kit as well, as do you. COngrats.. we own the most played out kit the 350z has ever had.. and it is sadly due to the fact that most people who roll this kit do tacky #ss mods everywhere else on the car. I hope to God i can show ppl that the kit can look functional and tuff after all if its done classy when its all done.. but enuff about me....

Heres the facts:

With such an agrressive kit.. LESS IS MORE. Get some tough functional looking wheels.

Theres an opinon.

SHow car or not, most enthusiasts on here are FUNCTIONAL fans. IE, if the parts dont actually DO something, we dont endorse them. SO theres my 2 cents.

Youre only caveat is that you want to show off a BBK.... so get some HRE wheels. Or I-forged, or Forgiatos.. or VOlks. You never mentioned costs etc... so I assume its not an issue.

The wheels you are asking if we like are too busy, you have a car w lines all over the place already w that kit... so Simple wheels will keep it from being confused.

Just buying every add-on part you can for your car doesnt mean the end result is going to look cohesive.

But the bottom line to this?

Dude..seriously. do what you want.. youre an adult. No one ( including myself) is like MAD at you about this or something, we are jsut really tired of post after post of ppl gettinaggitated over the internet about stuff they KNEW we would flame for in the first place. When ppl do that its becuase they KNOW they are short cutting and want someone to tell them its actually cool so they can feel better about pulling the trigger on it...

But if you sit there at your office and post a thread like this for countless numbers of people to do exactly what you asked and give thier opinion.. then just dont do it..

I swear to god, id say its 4 times a week someone posts "hey do you like these?" and act personally attacked over the replies that all say NO, we dont like them.

If you already know your own answer already , as it sounds you already have reasons why these are THE wheels for you.. again.. why ask?

I hear what your saying, but if you notice that I've been a member of this forum for 4 plus years with very few post. Why do you think that is?
All I'm doing is answering peoples questions rhetorical or not.
And truthfully, I never ask if you liked the wheels in question, I asked which ones. As if you had to choose from one or the other. If you don't like either one then here's an idea, move on to the next thread. It's not that difficult.
And if someone gives me a thought out answer and not some quick 2 word flame just to get there post count up then I take there opinion to hart and normally reply with a Thanks.
I'm not looking for the fastest or lightest even a wheel made from unobtainium. If I was then I would asked about Works, or Volke.
It's not a race car. It's not a drift car. And it's not a Time attack car. It's a Show car. It leaves the garage to get on a trailer just to get off at the show. So I don't see the need to buy a wheel I don't like just to have a light weight wheel.
Do you?

Well i would think that when a show judge looks at a car with craptastic parts/wheel/ tires etc etc i would hope they would mark it down and move on to a well built ride.

Judges don't look at a wheel and give bonus point because it's a race wheel. They want to see a wheel that fits well and looks good on the car they're judging. A wheel that is clean and not pitted or scratched from curb rash. It doesn't matter the make, or model of the wheel to them.

to answer what you asked i would pick wheel 2 over wheel 1 if i had to pick

the wheel one looks a bit cheaper than wheel 2 with that chrome lip

but to me they both look cheap and i think it may cheapen the look of your car

i think that with all the money you have spent and the fact that it is a show car a nice set of the suggested brands can be had that will show off your breaks and you can custom them to have special color lip, and face and i think the judges would prefer that and it will do more for your car money seems not to be an issue so for you to drop $4500 on custom wheels and tires you don't need stretched tire okay get some 265-30-19 up front and some 295-30-19 in back low pro and no stretch or better yet go for a set of 20" as it is a show car

any way wheel 2 looks better to me and i know your asking which one is better an and not my opinion but i can't help myself i really think it looks cheap

but as long as your happy that is fine

we are all just trying to help you the best way we can
