Looks like AME North America is back. They just stopped by our office and showed us these wheels that are in stock.
Keep in mind
********STOCK FENDER FITMENTS WITH PHAT LIP************
AME Shallen MX: I was told they have 19" Fitments available for the Z, but very limited # of sets.
20x9.0 +20 HI DISK (BREMBO/BBK) = 3.0" LIP
20x10 +20 SLO DISK = 4.6" LIP
They also have LOW Disk
20x9.0 +20 LOW DISK (NON BREMBO) = 3.9" LIP
DIAMOND MACHINE CUT

I love AME's DIAMOND CUT. It's soooo sick and soooo consistent. I have yet to see a stateside manufacturer replicate this finish. There have been some valiant efforts but nothing has come close.
Yes 2 piece wheel.
Sadly I don't think the GTM compares to the MX. They are definitely not the same in appearance when you take a close look at them. Fortunately these are both ORIGINAL JAPANESE MANUFACTURERS. They all respect each other "to an extent" lolz.....
Ok so here's where AME takes the cake over the Volk GT Series wheels. We'll compare lip depths below.
GTM -
"A" = HI Disk: 19x9.5 +23 = 50mm lip
"C" = SLO Disk: 19x10.5 +11 = 94mm lip
SHALLEN MX -
19x9.5 +23 HI disk = 80mm lip: BIG DIFFERENCE
19x10 +5 = same as 10.5 +11 = 133mm lip: BIG DIFFERENCE
Now for the fine details.
You will notice the GTM spokes sit in the same "plane" as the center's ring which fastens to the barrel.
However, the MX Wheel you will notice sits above the plane of the center's ring = spoke has a knuckle, which has allowed AME to produce much more lip than a lot of its competitors. They both have 7 "V" spokes but still different. Just imho, the AME looks so much more refined and baller. It's the perfect marriage between Sports and Luxury.
Anyways, thought that might help give comparison.

The G37 isn't rocking AME's in that photo. Notice the step lip on that wheel. AME is a reverse lip. Car looks sick though in motion.
Just PM me for prices. The 19" are sold out, I'm waiting to hear from Japan on when they will get more LO and SLO Disks for the MX.
AME has some other wheels in stock too that I haven't had a chance to thumbnail. Personally I think only one more style will appeal to the Z guys for their 2 piece wheels. I'll post pictures and then let the comments begin.
