8.5" wheels all around?
Hey, does anyone run a 8.5" wide wheel front and back? or would that be a bad setup for a z? and what size tires about would be ideal for them if i had them in an 18" wheel with 20mm offset?
any help would be great
Thanks!

Bad - not really considering that a lot of Zs came with OEM 8/8½" wheels. That's just widening the front by ½", right?
Most people would consider it a weak setup, not a full step above stock. Most people would say 9½" is the minimum to start with as an upgrade.
Ideal tires would depend on if they need to stay staggered, what you plan on doing with them. In general, on a 8½" wheel, a 265 tire is the maximum recommended width.

Nothing wrong with 18x8.5x4 so that you can run 255 or 265 tires all around and have the ability to rotate them.

I'd personally recomend running 18x9.5 all around.
I ran a set of 4 Nismo LMGT4 18x9.5 before on my Z, fronts were FLUSH, rears could use a spacer to match, but the handling was great. Very neutral, however if the back does step out it's not as easy to control. but you can run really wide tires up front and rear.
this was my personal favorite setup of my car out of 15+ sets of various wheels that were on it during 5 years....
