Default Wheel Color

Hey guys just wanted your opinion. I just picked up a set of OEM track v.1 wheels. I'm working on stripping all of the paint off and filling in those stupid looking little dimples that are on the spokes. I'd like to paint them once I got all that done. I'm not sure what color would look best tho. I thought a gunmetal or maybe a dark bronze. Any ideas would be a great help! Here is a pic of my old stockers painted gunmetal.

Plenty of black Zs in the black gallery. Pick a wheel color that you like.

Thanks, I've looked there. I like both colors. Just curious to know what you guys think looks best.

I like the gun metal you have now. I actully just dropped my wheels off to get powder coated that color for my super black z.

if they are going to be track/beater wheels then i would do something like a racing red.
if they are street wheels then i like the gunmetal color you got in that pic.

I'm not a fan of painting stock wheels any color other than black.

Here is a thread with a ton of examples that you can review:

What wheels, OEM 06 and newer wheels like to crack after powder coating them.

go orange cause it's halloween!

jk but seriously you can match alot of colors with black although you might not be a fan of bright colors. If anything just repowdercoat them in black gloss or gunmetal.

maybe I missed that, I've never heard of anyone on this site or any other with wheels cracking from powdercoat. My forged Grand Tourings were powdercoated with absolutely no problems.
