18x8, 18x9 ROTA P45R Offset ?
Hello,
I'm looking at ordering a set of ROTA P45R's but am unsure of what offset to get.
I want to get 18x8 for the front and 18x9 for the rear.
350Z Stock 18x8 = +30mm
So in order to match the current offset i would need the following:
ROTA P45R 18x8 = +30mm
ROTA P45R 18x9 = +42.7mm (added 1/2" 12.7mm to match offset of stock)
I was thinking of getting the following
ROTA P45R 18x8 = +25mm (subtract 5mm from stock)
ROTA P45R 18x9 = +35mm (subtract 7.7mm from stock
I was wondering if its safe to go further then that and go to a +20mm (-10mm from stock) for the front and +30mm (-12.7mm from stock) for the rear without having to worry about scrubbing ?...
Any thoughts / experiences would be appreciated.
Thanks,

For your reference this is what I run with no rubbing.
Rota P45R 9.5 x 18 all around
+20 275-35-R18 front
+5 (15mm spacer) 295-35-R18 rear
Tires are Verdestein Sessanta Ultracs (I think they run right on normal width but not as wide as some others brands)
Dropped on Hotchkis springs and rear fenders are rolled.

Welcome. Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
