Default New rims and tires.

Hey guys I just installed a new set of 20" axis penta on my 2005 350z.. The rims arrived mounted and balanced. We installed them and now I get a vibration at speed between 50-80mph And I get a pull to the right now?? The car is not lowered and the stock 17 never had a vibration issue or anything ?? When you put 20s on the 350z do you have get everything adjusted after .. Keep In touch

It sounds like your new wheels and tires may not be correctly balanced. I would take it to a shop and have the balance checked. You should not need to adjust anything when going to 20" wheels.

Alignment dont cause vibration from what i know.. Rebalance both front wheels and go from there.. If that checks out then check tires.. Ive recieved Out OF Round tires from tirerack once and vibrated like a ****.. Let me tell you man having aftermarket rims can give you a focking headache

Hubcentric rings. Do those wheels require them? Did you install them if so?

Thanks ... You think I sould only rebalance the front? What about an aliment for the pulling to the right?

That would be my first guess - a lot of aftermarket wheels require them because of generic sizing.

Pulling to the right - could be alignment, you should be getting that checked annualy anyway. If aligned, a defective tire could cause "radial pull".

Couldn't hurt to check the tire pressure, that could account for the pulling

Pressure check is a good suggestion, I have a feeling it's balancing and alignment related.

Take it to a reputable shop and get an inspection.

It's either your tires or check your lug nuts. It might be loose..

Default No luck..

Hey guys I took the wheels yesterday to discount trie and the figured out the issue with my penta.. The rebalanced then and re installed the right front. So I get the car back after it was do and I noticed the damage my front rim!! Guess they rushed one of the lug nuts And damaged the nut hole around it. They offered to either get me a new rim or have some rim place repaint the damage?? I do know what to do ? I was so pissed not even 20 miles ..

These are 20-inch wheels? Surprised that Discount Tire would even touch them.

Thats why i always tell them "NO AIR TOOLS" and i also have aluminum lugs. Tire monkeys running loose with air impacts are not good for aftermarket wheels.

I tried to take a pick yesterday but it was to dark. Should I try to get a new rim? Or let the rim place paint it? Or just leave it ?
