Default Road Hazzard

Buy it when you buy tires!

Why, I just bought new tires a month ago, this last weekend I get a nail in the edge of the tire, can't be patched, can't be plugged. $200 down the toilet.

Not all ultra-high performance tires offer it.

TireRack has a excellent hazard policy. Patch a tire. Mail the bill. I had a check in a week.

Never tried to get them to pay for a tire.

LOL, yeah shyt happens.
I do know when I bought the tires they offed a RH which I think was $25 per tire. I tend to be a cheap *** on warranties.

I just bought cheap tires for my beater, and they offered road hazard for 25$ -- on a $69 tire...

I have never used hazard insurance--too costly. I'd rather take my chances.

I don't buy it usually, but my girlfriend's car takes $190 18" tires and she tends to scrape lots of curbs while parking in the city. Had to replace a tire last week due to a big bulge forming where she curbed it, but the tread was so low that we ended up buying two tires. So $380 down the drain....and the insurance might have been worth it.
