Default Need spacers. What size?

I got some new wheels. They are 18x8. 225-40-18 on front, 225-45-18 on rear. The spacing is off so I need spacers to make it look right. What should I get. I am also new to the z community, so this is the first time dealing with this.

Welcome.

Put the wheels-tires on the car. Measure the distance between the edge of the tire and fender. How far do you want to move the tire? 10mm? 20mm? 30mm? There you go.

I will bet new wheels with proper tires will make it look a lot better than spacers ever could.

I want to keep it low. Nothing too drastic.

lol at this failure of a thread. Why such short, skinny tires? What are the offsets of the wheels?

Would have been better off researching better before buying the wheels.

Like I said, I'm a newb and didn't know. It was kind of a fast purchase because a friend of mine ran off the road and bent one of the rims. The tires were the only ones the tire shop had since he blew one of them. So I had to make due. And offset is unknown. I am looking into getting different wheels. What brands are good?

Oh I thought you said "I got some new wheels." So you are shopping for wheels and tires? Lots of examples here. Pick what you like.

Well I did get some and I was going to get spacers for them. I figured that would be a good fix since the offset isn't right. They are VSR performance wheels. Do you know anything about them? Also, now I am considering just getting a whole new set. So I'm not sure if I want to get new wheels or stay with the ones I have and get spacers.

Without knowing the offset anyone would simply be guessing as to what size spacers might make it look better. Usually the offset is either stamped on the back of the wheel or it's shown on a sticker that's on the barrel of the wheel. Look for it and see what you find. Other options would be to take off each wheel and measure the offset, or at the very least, take a picture so we can throw darts to estimate the offset and suggest a spacer. Lastly, you could do what Davidv suggested.
