Hi everybody,

I tried to do a search, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

I have the original Touring with the 18" wheels. I was wondering if I could put 245/45/18 all-season tires all around, rather than the normal staggered setup.

I think that will probably mess up your VDC. The computer expects different size tires front and rear.

 

You can, but you may have a minor issue with the VDC kicking in during hard cornering. If so, just turn it off, lol. Who needs a computer driving the car anyway? I just went with 225 all around for Blizzak snow tires and was told the same thing, but I am not running snow tire so I can take hard corners anyway. I have heard from some pretty experienced track guys that a square set-up is actually better for handling.

Just run 245/40-18 front tires.
