Default Tire size help

hey guys i have been reading through tons and tons of threads regarding tire sizes and i just wanted to ask a couple questions before i finally go ahead and get my next set....so im going to be running 18x8 wheels on the front and 18x9.5 on the rears on some tsw thruxtons (not my ideal wheels by any means but cant beat that price) i picked up locally for $400 bucks in perfect condition and im thinking that i want to go with 245/40/18s for the front and 275/40/18s for the rear wheels and my car has the vdc so i want to be absolutely certain it will not mess with it before i order the tires...so really i just want to know it you all think this is a pretty good setup or if there is a better combo i should possibly consider before ordering my new tires.

o and by the way im on stock suspension...for now

thanks in advance

Tire size is good, however, without knowing the wheel offsets, we can't be sure there won't be rubbing somewhere.

i just got done looking at that...thanks man. Also i noticed that the stock 35th anniversary 18s on my car currently have 225/50/18s on the front and 245/45/18s on the rear which was done by the previous owner...and if im not mistaken this is not a good setup is it? why would someone have chosen to put a 225/50/18 instead of the stock size 225/45/18?

Needed tires in a pinch and thats what was available that day, tire shop was filled with idiots. Arn't those the 370z non-sport package tires? If so, they could habe been take offs he bought cheap.

Thumbs up

275/40/18s

Actual speed 100.0 MPH. Speedometer will read 100.07 MPH. Perfect.
