VIP Status Wheels Issue #2 or more
Back in 2004 Status was already stocking.
I did this to make the wheels more affordable for you...
Think by basic econonics...supply and demand, and add in initial cost..
I purchased MORE than a few sets to be able to sell at a lower price to the users here..
I'm not going out on a limb here...Most if not 90% of 5x114 VSXX's sold until pre 2007 have likely touched the soil at Hermosa Status...
That importer then came in and wondered what happened to all our sales of their items.....Lets just say brand priority was restructured....

IMO - The other party is trying to shed some light as to how this whole (shipping JDM wheels) work and not trying to bash your company or steal your customers b/c you left some of them in the dark with the false ETA etc...
Like the rest of us, they/we want to see some closure to this thread.

I told blackheart that since he have been waiting for super long,and the wheels had already been made.And we are just waiting for them to hit the U.S
I will give him my cost and "PAY FOR HALF OF HIS WHEELS" And ship it out for free.+ I have $2000 of the wheels i shipped to him is still sitting at his house.
So what? Is that us taking care of him or what?

^Rick, nice to see you chime in here... I'm glad we are getting really close to having closure in this thread. Paying half and shipping for free is an amazing deal for an unfortunate situation.

I talked to Rick last night....Times are tough, I can no longer wait on these wheels...Although i've waited 8-9 months...I'm getting a refund..

Don't get me wrong. WORK wheels are still good.And you should buy with who ever you feel good with.

Work japan came to my shop right before Sema 2010 and had a talk with them and told them everything.Did they stop by your place? But do they care? We order from HRS,So that's who we get update from.And you know too, that AKH is not the only people that sell WORK wheels.HRS been selling WORK wheels for over 20years and the owner of HRS is a old time friend with the owner of WORK Japan.
And you know,if japan have the center disk in stock! they make it right away.Then it's up to the importer to bring it in.Fly it or ship it by ocean.
And you know your boys at AKH ship it by ocean most of the time.
So a lot of people ship it by ocean.
Let me ask you how many deals have you loss to too many people selling work wheels? How many pm's you got from people.That this vendor gave me this price?

FActs are facts, Yes I did speak to Rick yesterday since he did call me and let me know the situation.
Rick did make me the offer that he posted. When we spoke Rick did tell me how fustrated he is with the shady Etas and long postponements on my wheels. HE did offer to give me a refund or get me another set of wheels.
However im not into other wheels, At this point I just want what I ordered or my money back. Yes I did make changes to my original order, specs, sizes, and color. Rick Changed the order for me and did get me loaner wheels.
However, it seems the Issue solely lies between HRS, Rick@vipstatus, and Work Wheels on getting my wheels.
Rick, you verified the wheels were completed, in my new requested specs and in GOLD color.
I dont know what the situation is between you and HRS, and why nobody cant give me a real reason why its so hard to deliver a paid for product that is already completed and just sitting there waiting to be delivered.
No one gave me a straight forward answer as to why it took so long to product a custom wheel and still not have it delivered. HRS, WORK, RICK--anybody want to fill me in on what really happened here?
Seriously you cant tell me it takes 2 years to produce a set of custom wheels.
Rick, I appreciate you chimed in and agreed to give my refund back on monday since you cant deliver my order or Work wheels.
I understand you went thru alot with HRS, but I should not ,or any other member who has paid for their wheels, have to call 3 or 4 dealers playing phone tag and still cant get a reliable answer at the end of the day.
I appreciate the help of all members who chimed in to bring light to this situation.
However, I will be happy once I get my refund on monday thru paypal as we agreed to Rick.
