Probably because the step lip is one of the defining features of a BBS LM wheel, hence Varrstoen took the same approach when mimicking the style. Also there are plenty of BBS LM styled rims out there without the step lip, just search a little. If memory serves me right ADR sells one.

my concerns are rubbing and i dont want to be rolling fenders. Hows the ride in ATX roads? i have front and rear kit and skirts and do not want it to be scarping.

Tired of worrying about scraping and rubbing with my previous car. thanks for the info

the roads here in austin arent too bad as long as you stick to the roads that you normally drive and know then theres nothing to worry about. my rear fenders are already rolled and i obviously have a kit. theres nothing wrong with a little scraping here and there if you cant prevent it, but like i said most of us stick to roads that we know where all the spots are to avoid. if youre concerned about rubbing then you might as well go ahead and get your rear fenders rolled if theyre not already, theres nothing wrong with having a little bit of extra room just incase especially if youre going to be running a 40 series sidewall

Did you get your tires, and install wheels? If so, could you post pics please? Thanks!

Well the tires came in, but the coilovers haven't yet so I had to put the car back together with the stock suspension for the Golden Gardens meet this sunday. Please excuse the 4x4 status when I get the coils the wheels will be .250" from the fenders.

19x10.5 +12 all around with a 15mm spacer out back
