I just bought 19" Volk GT-C 8.5 front x 9.5 rear. I know I should do 9.5/10.5 but I decided not to.

I was looking at 245/30/19 and 275/30/19 but was told a sidewall of 30 is too low and will result in my traction problems. Can anyone help? I'm trying to keep cost down since the rims were a pain as it is.. need some cheap tires. Thanks!

Those sidewalls are way too small. Bump it up to 35 front and rear and you are in business. 245/35/19 f 275/35/19 r

 

A 35 Sidewall is only made in few tires, all of which are pretty expensive, what if I do 35 front, 30 rear?

 

You do a 35 aspect ratio front and a 30 rear, and you'll throw off the stagger. You don't want to do that. All performance tires, that I know of come in 245/35 and 275/35/19s. Dunlop SP9000s are reasonably priced, and IMO, a great tire. I have a set on my 18" Nismos.
