New Volk Racing G12
Hey guys!
Introducing the new G12 that was just unveiled at this past Tokyo Auto Salon. The G12 was inspired by the Rays centerlock race wheel on the FIA R35 GTR and is the latest wheel from the Volk Racing lineup. By utilizing the most advanced forging technology in the world, we were able to lighten the wheel by approximately 500 grams without sacrificing any structural integrity. Here are some pictures of the wheels on an IS-F and S5, what do you guys think?

Regarding the sidecuts on the G12, it uses the exact same technology that is used to produce the side cuts in the Rays Formula One wheel that we have been supplying to the Williams Formula 1 team since 2007. Retaining structural integrity was the main focal point we focused on while incorporating the side cuts on the G12. As so, the rigidity of the wheel was not sacrificed which is typically the problem when implementing side cuts on cast or low quality forged wheels.
