Default just put on aftermarket wheels

whats up guys, i just got my aftermarket wheels put on, but the TPS sensor will not turn off, it doesn't beep after like 30 seconds if it's low, but it still flashes PSI in the guage, and also the low tire light next to the VDC light. any one have this before, is there a way to stop that, btw, i didn't keep the sensor valves, just normal ones, i had a flat once and put on the spair, but it didn't flash at me or beep. now it's just doing the flashing, thanks in advance.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

I think the dealer has to reset the sensors.

Not really sure though.

ok, just got back from the dealer, very stupid people up there, they reset the light, but it came right back on as soon as i pulled out of the lot. so i turned around and went back to ask the guy what the hell he did for 30 minutes, he told me he reset it but it would probably come right back on, has anyone had this problem before ?

Here's a question for you... do your new wheels have provisions for the OE sensors? If the sensors aren't there, you'll have to live with the flashing light. Are they OE wheels? Cast? Three-piece? Most aftermarket wheels do not accommodate the OE Nissan (or other) run-flat sensors.

Some people find a small square piece of electrical tape covers up this annoying light...

All I can say is they fit fine in the NISMOs and as long as they are put in the same location, there will be no problem. And there is no problem on my swap.

I don't have sensors in either set of wheels I use on my car, and the only time I ever get any indication, is after 30-45 minutes of driving, the flat tire light next to the vdc light will come on. Never a flashing light on the gage (just dashes when tire pressure is selected)

I get the light after driving for over 40 minutes or so. I've learned, through a couple of hours of intense therapy, to ignore it. I actually got a psi reading on one of my tires. I think the computer was reading one of the sensors from my stock wheels in the garage. Is that possible?

Good question... where are the PSI sensors anyway? I took my stock tires off for the winter and i can't see them anywhere...

how does it feed data to the car if there's no wiring?

The are inside the tire/rim attached to the valve stem. I swapped mine to my new rims (ADR) and they fit perfectly.

teh - thanks... so does it do a wireless broadcast of the tire pressure?

if so, it'd be an interesting experiment to find out the range of the signal and whether or not it uses a battery to power the broadcast
