whats up guys, i just got my aftermarket wheels put on, but the TPS sensor will not turn off, it doesn't beep after like 30 seconds if it's low, but it still flashes PSI in the guage, and also the low tire light next to the VDC light. any one have this before, is there a way to stop that, btw, i didn't keep the sensor valves, just normal ones, i had a flat once and put on the spair, but it didn't flash at me or beep. now it's just doing the flashing, thanks in advance.

I think the dealer has to reset the sensors.

Here's a question for you... do your new wheels have provisions for the OE sensors? If the sensors aren't there, you'll have to live with the flashing light. Are they OE wheels? Cast? Three-piece? Most aftermarket wheels do not accommodate the OE Nissan (or other) run-flat sensors.

I don't have sensors in either set of wheels I use on my car, and the only time I ever get any indication, is after 30-45 minutes of driving, the flat tire light next to the vdc light will come on. Never a flashing light on the gage (just dashes when tire pressure is selected)
I get the light after driving for over 40 minutes or so. I've learned, through a couple of hours of intense therapy, to ignore it. I actually got a psi reading on one of my tires. I think the computer was reading one of the sensors from my stock wheels in the garage. Is that possible?

how does it feed data to the car if there's no wiring?
teh - thanks... so does it do a wireless broadcast of the tire pressure?
if so, it'd be an interesting experiment to find out the range of the signal and whether or not it uses a battery to power the broadcast
