I appreciate the compliment and no i was not implying you were countering me, i was just stating the nature in which these conversations usually end up, and trying to avoid that. Replicas have always been a touchy subject on this forum (and others from what ive seen) It's just a sad day for some of us guys rockin the GTS

And btw even if your looking at the replica of the GTS, i can see you have good taste, sir.

Glad the wheel fits your budget and you know the difference between the two. I never said they look bad, just awkward in 20's. I think you should stick to 19's, in my opinion they fit the Z much better.

Funny you say this. I was just telling my boy 2 days ago that the only reason I'm going 20 is because I have a new set of Continental extreme DWS tires that I used only this winter on my G coupe. I recently sold the G but kept the tires...they ARE amazing in snow and wet on a rear wheel drive car and they are sticky on dry roads. Won't have to buy tires if I go 20

Thanks! I guess we'll see but this wheel is in my top 5, in black because i wouldn't like gold with lemans sunset. If a used set of GT-S pops up in the forum with nice offsets, i'm interested or maybe some TE37.

Hoping it'll fit nicely with the kit i'm looking (Nismo V2 front, Ings N-Spec side and Drifter 2 back bumper)

i think a set of GTS in silver would look great on your lemans. and why don't you just get the entire Ings kit!

I honestly thought of that but i'm not much of a fan of the ings front bumper except on a daytona blue Z and a white one. I have some GT7's in my sight and hopefully they won't be sold until i gather up the cash for 'em. They're silver with chrome lip. Here's the link for those curious:

http://montrealracing.com/forums/sho...10.5-(5x114.3)

30 offset up front though...might require spacers. They were on a Soarer before.

I'd be very much interested about those vertini drift in black if i can't get the GT7's or GT-S, and if they would be available in 19's.

Several GTS sets go in the classifieds all the time for 22-2400...with good tires...but youd pay that or more for new reps...id rather have the real mccoy..aslong as there in good condition.

I have 19" volk gts wheels. Getting and extra replica 19x10.5 would be ideal for drifting. Bringing the tire machine to events is fine but this would save some time for sure..and no one will really know the difference

Now why would they think having "Vertini" embossed in the spoke is a good idea? Knock off companies are even failing at making knock offs now.

I didn't get them to rep the volks. I got them bc I just wanted wheels similar to my old axis wheels but in gold. And painting or pc the axis just wouldn't be as fresh of a look and all.

I was actually ready to purchase some 19" gts from a member but he was bs-ing around and got irritating.
