Default powdercoating my wheels, help!

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out what color gold I wana use for my wheels....do you have any recommendations on a certain gold powdercoat???

I'm looking at a lot of different color charts, but its tough to just go off those small squares!

If you do, can you specify the color code or name??

ask your Powder coater to give you a sample piece on a small cut out of aluminum so you get actual color not printed on a sheet of paper.

if it's worth it to get it right the first time, you should go the extra effort to get test samples.

Agreed!!!...I just had mine powdercoated and it helps w/ the decision making process to see samples first. Those tiny square pics are not going to give you an extremely accurate depiction of what the powder will look like on your wheels.

I personally skipped one of the important steps of taking the sample out into the sunlight to see the different angles in the sun, and have since been slightly disapointed w/ how freakin' bright my wheels are in direct sunlight. But I have no-one to blame but myself on that one.
