Default Need Help

I am new here. I need to know is this a known problem or am I the only one. I own a Nissan 350Z, Stock wheels the Chrome 17X8. I was washing my Car and noticed that two of the wheels were cracked. One Wheel is broken all the way through one spoke, two spokes are broken one is completely gone. I am reaching out for help to you guys that are in the know! Will post pictures if it will help. Thank you all in advance for the help.

Cracked wheels are not a known or common issue, it is just an important safety issue. Replace them asap.

Do you have a picture of the wheel?

Are they a five spoke chrome design?

Did you hit any potholes or anything of that sort at a decent speed?

Im going to take a better picture. I took that one close up. The spoke that I took the picture of is broken all the way through. I guess the good lord was looking out for me. I noticed it when i was washing the wheels. I was going to get my Daughter for visitation. Thank god I didnt have a wreck with her in the car.

Doubt if Nissan will give you a free wheel. Plenty of suitable wheels for sale in the marketplace.

Or you were just paying attention while washing your car.

I doubt they will do anything for me also. I am going to buy a new set regardless of what happens. I paid alot of Money for this Car and it isnt going to be Yard Art. I am going to raise a fuss. I just feel like I should. For the price of these cars (28,000-37,000) they should stand behind the product that they sell. Nissan has my pisstivity level high right now. I read the responses from 350Z owners on here, looks like Nissan doesnt care about any of their Customers!

Maybe they were powdercoated aftermarket? Cracking of OEM powdercoated wheels is starting to be a regular occurrence.

Regardless, get them off NOW, or stop driving the car.

I have already stopped driving it. I have ordered wheels to put on, I will be good to go in three days. However It does get me a little ripped when Nissan says there isnt a problem and that my car is 6 years old now. Are they saying that these wheels rot in 6 years? I also like that the woman there Patrice (1-866-799-1690 ext 1598) said that it might be my driving. WOW. You would think that they would have tried to take better care of the customers. Thanks everyone for the input, I had no idea that this was going on. Now I am glad that I know so that I can fix the problem so my car is safe again. I just wonder how many people dont know. I am also glad that my searching lead me to this place. Its pretty cool. You guys will have to run me off now..
