![Question](https://my350z.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I bought some like-new used stock Z wheels/tires off CL.
(They came with the factory TPMS sensors)
I don't know the exact year or model except the wheels look the exact same as the ones that came with my car. (Except these have good tread
)
I mounted them on the car. Took it to the tire shop to just get the car to read the new ones.
Tire shop said they 'could not link them with the car computer'...
So.
What is the possible issue here?
I still have the old wheels/sensors but would hate to have to pay to pull the sensors off and mount them on the 'new' wheels... $$$

the first time i had new-used wheels and tires they were on stock wheels and American Tire was able to sync it with no problem and for free. but now i have volks and had to get the tpms banded and im having the same issue as you. the dealership wants 125. ill live with the light for now i guess.

OP go to discount tire or americas tire (in cali thats what its called) we have the tools to be able to read the id's from the sensor and write em to the car. it takes about a minute to do and totally free...
good luck

All good responses - thank you.
Key is that it is not an incompatible set of sensors - just Eagle Tire's inability to do it right.
(But i will wait until the TPMS is resolved before selling my old set
