Default 295 or 305? Hmm

Wheels are almost here and time to order the tires...

Going with a 255/35/19 in front (8.5" wheel.. wheels were discontinued and it was the biggest I had to work with)

and a 295/30/19 or 305/30/19...?? (11" wheel)

The bad part is.... I live in the midwest and no one around here does fender rolling... I would have to find an eastwood or something and do it myself.

Good thing is im still on stock suspension.

Im wondering to go with the 295 or 305. Both tires will be 26" tall if I do the 295. I wasn't sure if this would throw the VDC off or not with it being even.

If I get the 305 it will be 26" front 26.3" rear which is perfect I think.. But I dont have rolled fenders.

Any feedback is welcome! Thanks! Pics to come soon.

The VDC thread will explain why this may not work.

That would be handy wouldnt it...

The fronts are 26 offset and the rears are 25.

I could do a 285 I guess but I was looking for some more meat back there, not a fan of the stretch look. (yes i know a 285 wouldnt be that much stretch)

Go with 305s, but be prepared for them (or even the 295) to over power the front tires. You can fix that with adjustable sways.

the size is not nearly as important as the type of tire

some 295's are bigger than some 305's

Im looking at the Hankook v12's for this I think... Hoping to order the tires today actually if I can make up my mind. Wheels should be here in a couple days.

I totally wish I just lived somewhere car-friendly and could roll my fenders no problem. I just don't trust the hillbillies at shops in my area. Might have to make a road trip to get them done, or DIY I guess.

Thanks for the info guys... I think I'm going to go with the 305's if they don't fit then I'll just have to wait a couple weeks to get my fenders situated.

Absolutely agreed.

That's because your rear was still taller than the front, although the 60mm difference front to rear is something I would highly avoid.

Lol I've just heard about so many stories going wrong with DIY but in the end its probably my best option. I'll just have to find an eastwood somewhere.

And what do you guys mean by "overpowering" ? This car is my DD, I don't really plan on tracking it, if I do, it will be on different wheels or the stockers. I go for a spirited drive here and there since I'm blessed with some amazing curvy roads but that is about it.
