Default TPMS sensor going out??

For some reason, after driving on the highway for about 30 minutes, the front left TPMS sensor quits working and the low pressure light comes on. It's strange because this problem never occurs when driving in the city. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix this?

Thanks

Troubleshooting here is a 50/50 proposition. Its either the sending unit in the wheel or the receiving unit (TPMS). Since the sending unit is a fraction of the cost of the receiver, I would begin there.

mine does the same, bought a set of used tpms on ebay for 40 bucks for all four.. new wheels going on in 2 weeks.. hopefully will fix the issue. pretty common. Pretty good batteries for lasting 6 years.

Is it reading 0 psi (low pressure) or "--" no signal?

If no signal, does it do it immediately upon driving or does it happen after a while?
