Ok, so i've been searching all over the web and on here about the stock track wheels which are 8.5" in the rear.

Seems the general consensus is that a 255 is the most common size up that people choose. I am interested in others who may have run larger than this, for instance a 265/35/18 or a 275/35/18 and what your experiences have been.

Most tire sites say the 255-265 is the max on an 8.5" wheel... If you have/ or are running one of these on a 8.5" wheel or the track wheels for that matter any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Stick to 265 max, unless your pinching 285/30-18 on them for autocross use.

 

I run 265/35s on my 8.5" "rain" enkeis and for driving to events. I would not go larger than that.

 

Cool, thanks guys... That's more or less what I was looking to find out. I did the 255's last year and was thinking there was more room left to go.
