Default Winter Tires, need help ASAP

I need to get winter tires soon. I have a couple questions. First does anyone have any experience with just having 2 tires on the back and leaving the front 2 stock? Second, would there be a problem with instead of going with the stock size of 235/50-17 going with a 225/50-17 for the back? Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

There are a million of these threads going on now. Just see my "Blizzak snow tire review" here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=51777

Sorry, just a lot of threads on the same subject. My apologies. It has been my experience that running two different tires in almost any configuration is a bad idea. However, this is not a hard and fast rule. If you did not place the snows on the front, you may have a braking or steering issue.

I didn't realize he said he had the WS050's. Oh, that's right, he didn't! Not to mention that the only difference between the WS-50's and the LM-22's is the microcell layer. It is missing on the LM-22's.
