Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta Tires
265/35/18, 295/35/18 is what I am running. Not sure the exact price I paid, but it was under 750 shipped. When I priced them out again for my second set, they came out to 950 shipped. I decided to buy local and get KDW2 BFG. came out to under a grand installed and while not the quietest tire out there, they are grippy.
So, for about the same money you could get conti DW, KDW2 BFG, and the tires you listed. I am not badmouthing the vredesteins, just saying for about a grand (850 + install) you have choices that might be more readily available. My local shops can source and install other brands in the same day vs ordering the vredesteins on my own and then taking them in with me for install.

How do they compare overall to the VREDS?
Anyway, the KDWs are around $30 more per tire...close.
The Conti DWs are a great tire..they are $50 more per tire..that's significant.
I think the RE760s would be the only other tire I'd consider here, but I'm pretty sure I'll go for the VREDS when the time comes. That's at least a year away

I run Vreds and I love them. I've even done a couple of HPDE's on them and again, I love them. I ran 28-32psi (cold) at the track. They stick pretty good and are predictable. For the price you can't beat them. They perform well, wear well, AND they look really good.
. Still, one hell of a street tire for occasional track use/autocross.
^^^^ truth... I didn't start seeing any "give" from them until the 3rd session of the day. Playing with the psi made a difference. I definitely wouldn't put these on my car because they are the stickiest tire, I'd rather run star specs or RE-11's if that was what I was after. My main goal at an HPDE though is to learn my car in street form so that's why I chose to stay on the Vreds.
