Finally got my Volk Racing SF Challenge wheels, but I need a little help
Last week I just received my Volk Racing SF Challenge wheels in gold, sizes 19x9.5's for the front and 19x10.5's for the rear. Now which tire sizes should I go for:
My 1st choice would be to go for 245/35/19 for the front and 295/30/19 for the rear.
Or should I go for:
245/35/19 - 285/30/19
245/35/19 - 285/35/19
My 1st choice would be to go for 245/35/19 for the front and 295/30/19 for the rear.
Or should I go for:
245/35/19 - 285/30/19
245/35/19 - 285/35/19

No, I wouldn't need to roll in my rear fenders if I stay at stock height. But I am dropping the car in which I will need to roll in my rear fenders after doing so...I hope you understood me now.

I got my new 04' Z in Pike Peak White...I think that the white on the gold wheels will look so freakin hot. I wish I could have gotta the tires before Hot Import Nights season finale which is tomorrow night down here in Miami, FL. But oh well...

I would put a wider wheel on the front as well either a 255/35/19 or 265/35/19. That 245 will not be wide enough for the 285 or 295 rear in my opinion. It will still work but you may get more understeer with that setup.

I'm sure you have the Hyper Rev book.
It says 245/35-19 fronts and 275/30-19 rears for
the size wheels you got on the Vertex car.
But who knows for sure....
Good luck with them! Most other companies did the same
thing even with different offsets it seems....Wonder why
they didn't go 275/30-19 though...

I personally am going with 255/35/19 front and 295/35/19 for the rear. The 295/30 looks like a rubberband to me. Problem is, the only 295/35 out there is Michelin pilot sports (what Ihave) and continentals.

nope on the s03s...pilot sports, in the 35, dunlop and yokos in the 30. AS for rolling, I did not roll my fenders. I have no drop. Only ime I rub is torqueing the car hard if I take the driveway wrong. If the car is lowered, the negative camber will allow for no fender roll as well.
The pilot sport (NOT A/S) have the same performance characteristics as the S03, just pricier. If it matters, Doug at Crawford was not too happy on the track with the S03s. He said they got greasy fast. Also, his shop guys were telling me after the track events they pulled CHUNKS of the tires off the car. He said that was probably due to large grooves in the tread design.

265X35 FRONT, 295X35 REAR
I have SSR's commng 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rears, and I plan to go with either Yoko' AVS or Toyo TS1's both about the same price. Much lower than Pilot Sports. Diameter's are close to original
