Question Tire pressure in the cold

i'm a new z owner. i got in my car yesterday and it was about 25 degrees outside. tire pressure was registering around 28 psi all the way around and the dash alarm went off on the main gauge panel as well as the one above the nav door - blinking "psi" at me. as i started driving, psi increased (of course), but never to the point that the alarm shut off.

this is an annoying feature. any suggestions?

Cold weather is going to effect your psi. I believe your recommended PSI is 35#. Measure before driving and add air until 35# is reached. I keep a pressure gauge if my "Z". I watch tire pressure in this vehicle more than any other in my life.

you must get it over 32psi; all 4 for a minute or 2.

thats not gonna be a particularly easy task if your at 27-28 cold.

you just need to add some air.

At 32 degrees, you should add 3psi to your cold reading. example: if your spec's show you should have 29 cold psi, then at 32 degrees, you should inflate tires to 32 psi hope this helps.
