thank goodness the wheels were only PS'ed on and not actually mounted ona GT-r.

Gt-r and Neon have the same brakes.

Don't post an opinions thread when there's good advice that was given but you failed to heed.
Ok..I asked for opinions...good or bad and you gave yours. My take was that you didn't think they would be *flush* enough and that's a matter of opinion, so I accept that. If it's a matter of style..which you weren't CLEAR on, so be it. One man's meat is another's poison. Now...let's wait for my pics to do the talking. I invite you to post your opinion again at that time.

I know the Rota Torque is a very popular wheel here, so I have a quick side by side to compare:

I dont think the sizes work with the wheel design.

I was pretty clear... and never said anything with the word "flush" in it.

Nothing a like... you'd probably better of comparing a Rota GForce or a Fighter 10. The Torque's are Work Kai reps and would look more like WED's SA's.

True...BUT....I used the Torque because it's a VERY popular wheel on 350Zs and mentioned time and time again here. *Nothing alike*??? Come on now, just because those wheels you mentioned DO have more in common with the Zero-In, doesn't translate to they're being *nothing alike*. I think someone who's looking at the Torque (I was) might want to consider this wheel as well. Let's just let all those who look at em both decide

the rotas don't have a machined face or a red stripe. they're simple and look good even though they are knock offs.

the machined face and red stripe on the konigs is just too much and does indeed look ricey. those belong on a civic owned by a 16 year old kid, not on a z.

I'm not talking about the offsets to achieve the flush look... I'm talking about the RIM itself. The concavity of the Advans and SSR's make them look better, the GTC's have a wider spoke so it doesn't look like crap. I've owned more rims than you've owned cars guy so spare me the attempt to school me.
Ok..if you'll allow me...I want to post again the ONLY pic I could find of a Z with these wheels...same size and offset, but with 275s all around:

scardeal’s 2007 Nissan 350Z
2007 San Marino Blue Nissan 350Z 18x9.5 Konig Zero-In rims Hotchkis Sways 275/40R18 Nitto NT05 tires

Here is a G35 with the Advan RS you mentioned:

Do ya REALLY think there's THAT much of a difference in appeal?

Now, I presume this is a wheel pic your car?

Ok..you're car is damn fine..without a doubt. But I fail to see how your point applies when looking at your wheels and the Zero In wheels on this Z depicted. What is it that makes your wheels more appealing as far the points you make? I"m sure lots of people would prefer your set up over the Zero-Ins...but surely a case could be made for the other way around.
I'm gonna put this debate to rest for now. Let's see what my car looks like and I'll put up some pics here on this thread (within next couple weeks).
Sorry for any misunderstandings...feel free to comment when I put em up.

I was trying to avoid the type of *in your face* red stripe on the OUTER LIP that was on the first generation Zeros (prior design) and most other BLACK rims. I wanted a hint of red to match my car color and I didn't want a BLACK faced rim. That's why this works for me. To each is own.

here's what I'm taking about:
Typical BLACK rim with outer RED stripe:

OLDER ZERO:

ZERO-IN...Hyper Black like face with inner stripe and BLACK inner rim. You can pull this off on a RED car like this without it being gaudy.

.
I know I was going to put this to rest, but this pretty much says it all.
Actually, I found an Advan RZ which is very similar and has more concavity.
Here it is on a Suby:

Here Zero-IN on same car:

Advans RS on Evo:

Zero-In:

Now, my take on this is that ..yes the Advans have more concavity and thicker spokes ...but this isn't a *night and day* situation as far as appeal.
I really wanted some red and black in the picture and this fits the ticket for me.

the advans don't look like aids though. if you paint the konigs like those they'll look much better.

Maybe..but I was just responding to the his take on the SHAPE of this wheel and why it's supposed to be better looking SHAPE wise (more concave..thicker spokes)

Do you think they look better...not considering the color?

Here are Advan RS 18" with 22 offset (Zero INs are 25) on a G35:

"FS: 18'' Advan RS wheels with Goodyear F1 Asymmetric tires

Specs and Price: 18x10'' +22 offset Advan RS wheels with Gold finish. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tires, 265's all around"

I'm not going to read all of that as I already gave my advice and your not going to change my mind. Here's an updated pic of my wheel collection:

I'm picking up the Equips when I get home.
