Default Dust on my Wheels?

So i've got a PPW 05 Z so i already have to wash it about twice a week, but lately i've been noticing on the front rims only all this black crap. It didnt dawn on me that i should take a picture until after i wiped it off but it looks kind of like some thick dust. It doesnt blow off and the hose doesnt get it off. However a damp rag takes it right off. Its all through the rim and coats the outside. The back rims look spotless however. I just thought it was dirt at first but now im concerned its something i should be worried about. Like maybe its something coming off of the brakes.

Any thoughts?

Brake dust. I had a lot of it as well (front wheels only) before I bought new pads -- now it's hardly noticeable.

most likely brake dust. but a while back i had a similar problem and came to find out my velocity joint boot had come off and was throwing grease all over the backside of the wheels and was getting it extremely dirty.

Classic brake dust. Mainly on the front..gummy..sticky..black.
If you're not tracking the car...put on ceramics. ZERO dust.
I like these..
