O hai scammer:

This dude has a multiple personality disorder or something...he really thinks he is a bunch of different people.
Keep in mind on myg37 he admitted that lemansz20 was forged specialties, but his real name is Chris. Yet, magically he is now Danny on the camaro forum, and hasn't actually seen the products in person, etc.

This thread is yet another example that if you want quality custom made-to-order forged wheels, you're better off dealing with established brand names in the wheel industry like:
- iForged
- DPE
- HRE
- CCW

Holy crap! Suddenly I'm REALLY happy with my decision back in April of 2010. I knew Forged Specialties sounded familiar.
I exchanged several e-mails with a Christopher Q at wheelsdirectonline when I was in the market for wheels. He tried talking me into a sponsorship deal for new Forged Specialties wheels that looked just like the BBS-LM. He wanted the $2200 up front without even showing me what the wheel looked like (other than a rendering in some CAD program). After a day or so of e-mails like "The sooner we get your payment the sooner we can get things moving", I decided it was best for me to back out of the deal. Even though he claimed it was a "huge deal".
I have a brand new appreciation of my Works now...
Good luck to all who have fallen prey to such a scam. Hopefully this guy gets hit by a train.

Well I'll put my wheel reputation out there by mentioning another company from Miami that do good custom wheels... Strasse. They are personal friends of mine and if I went VIP style... Strasse Forged would be the people that get my business. However even though ADV-1 are their main competitor... They make great wheels too.

Yeppers .. The spokes are cracked .. There is no damage to the lips or barrels .. It just keep getting better .. I have never been scammed before in my life .. This makes me feel like an idiot.. Also Chris still denies there is anything wrong with his wheels and continues to deny a refund of my money...
