Default So, whats first? Wheels, coilovers

Thread got locked by the cool guy i guess cause it was in the wrong section...I was asking for suggestions.....hmmm... i thought thats what the `suggestion and feedback section was for... Anyways.

So my cars is bone stock. And i was wondering about what would be the easiest way to go about it. I`m a fat`ish` tire/flush aggressive look myself..So my question is what way should i go about this first....Should i get wheels and tires/spacers....or should i go coilovers first...Another mod instead?

Thanks

How do you like your stockers? I kept the stock V1 Rays and added spacers for now. Full suspension is next and wheels will be later down the road

Lower the car first. Then you can visually see how much room you have for wheels and tires. Select wheel and tire specs accordingly.
or
Install wheels and tires first. Then you can visually see how much room you have to drop the car.
I would want to avoid the Oh shiit! factor; that is, wheels and tires that do not fit your car.
Springs are less expensive than wheels and tires. Springs are unsuitable? Buy and install different springs.

Spacers and coilovers would achieve the flush look. Or get desired rims and springs for now.

As per the cool guy... Im guessing the suggestions and feedback section is for members to give feedback and suggestions to the my350z.com website itself LOL. Damn those cool guys!

I would say depends on your stock wheels and if they have some tread left. The downside to getting an aggressive wheel without lowering is it looks straight ReDoNk!! Lol but if your stock tires have se decent tread and you don't mind the look I would say to get coilovers first and maybe some spacers. I always say to check out the for sale sections. I bought my coilovers on here for $500 with low miles on them so you can find some pretty good deals and maybe get both lol.

OOOOoo

No real budget limit i say, i just save till i have what i want...But i know for sure my plans are to get both rims and coilovers at some point just not together.....

i`ve seen plenty of threads and post of wheels, in the wheels/thread sections. But is there a commen guide to go by when you want to be flush/aggressive....Example:

A 18x10 +15 is the same as 18x9.5 +0 and 18x11 +30....trying to explain the best i can, sorry.

I would lower the car first. Spacers for your stock wheels if you want to get the aesthetics right. Aftermarket wheels rarely look good at stock ride height.

and you will see your comparisons are wrong.

Lower your car, get it aligned to the specs that you want to run. Then use a ruler or caliper to see how much space you have with the factory setup. Then you can calculate based off of that. Anything else is just guessing, because until you know the spacing on your specific car at a given height, you aren't going to know what ends up flush.
