Question Aftermaket center cap for stock wheels

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and have been searching without any solid finds.

I just got a Z. I will do a post about it in the right area. Its really a creampuff.

Anyway, I am going to lean out the look by switching some badges to the matte finish.

Question, I actually like the stock rims on my 2008 (and cant afford new rims nor is it worth it for me honestly.) I just dont like the shiny looking Nissan logo in the center of the stock rims. The "cap" seems to measure 2 1/4 inches (I measured but am going off memory so dont quote me.) Is that just a center cap, or center cap sticker? Do they make an aftermarket version with a plain Z on it? I have been looking but cant find one. Or can I just peel off the Nissan wording from the "cap" and leave it blank for a clean look?

Anybody know or have any experience with this?

Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!
Eric

Were you looking for something simple and plain, or were you looking to just have a more low key Z emblem in the end?

Well I would like a matte Z emblem or other type of Z emblem instead (right now it says Nissan). Last case scenario I would go for a blank or plain look

Just paint it black yourself

Anything aftermarket is just ugly

They are plastic, sand them smooth and paint them.

Do you think the Nissan logo will peal off? Then will the cap just pop off? Or is the whole "cap" just a sticker on a 08?

If you're looking for a matte Z emblem, you could always mask off everything except for the Z and paint them yourself. Or, sand everything smooth and paint.

Its plastic stuff.Sand e'm down&paint.
For great results use Duplicolor Trim Black.
Use Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter before applying
several coats of the Trim Black.
The results will look OEM!
