Need sizes and specs , anything less than 17x9 and walk away. Then the for for tires is a 275/40-17 front and rear, really popular with the track crowd.

I ran a staggered set up of 17x9.5 +18 with 255/40 and 275/40 for track purpose. I will say that 17" tires are way cheaper to run and there re a wider selection. So if you track your car you might want to stick with the 17. I am actually thinking about going full on 17" rpf1 for daily driving. I just nees to buy some street tires before i mount them for the road.

Hey everyone, just figured I'd update all my noob question threads from years ago lol.

I ended up just lowering my car on Tein Flex coils while I look for new wheels. Don't have a wheel gap problem anymore.

by the time you buy new wheels and tires for said 18" wheels.
you could easily have some Dspecs struts and springs AND have a better riding, better cornering car.

I vote for Dspecs and pick your springs

and yes, 18's are noticeably slower than even the stock 17's on my STi.
They would make the WRX even slower. unless you get some te$as money wheels that are lite... but then you go talking about a budget...

Looks good dropped. I will be lowering mine in September. I have 18's.

I will be selling 2 Varrstoen ES2.2.1 9.5x18 +22 offset wheels with Sumitomo 255/40/18 Max Performance summer tires. All are like new. Tires only have maybe 100 miles on them. I switched to a 8.5 wheel for the front. This is the reason I'm going to sell the mentioned wheels and tires. Wheels are silver. Let me know if you are interested or know someone who may be interested.

Attached is a picture of what they look like on my car (like I said, it needs to be lowered).

Best regards,
ZROCM
