Default Chrome dipping stock wheels?

Does anyone know of a place in Tennessee that can chrome dip stock wheels? I would like to get mine dipped, but can't be without them very long because I don't have another vehicle to drive.

Do a chrome exchange. Here's a couple I pulled out of AutoWeek.

chromeyourwheels.com Phone - (909) 595-0144

Phone (877) 66-chrom

I have read on another site that chroming aluminum rims is not a good idea. I read where over time the chrome will crack due to the chemical properties of the aluminum etc.

Well, I tend to keep cars for a while. I had a '93 Lexus SC300 5MT Coupe with chrome wheels. After about 6 years, 3 of the 4 were leaking. It seems the chrome was pealing from the inside at the bead. I could gunk them up, and they would stop leaking for a while. I finally gave up and replaced them. I don't have the car anymore, but I still have the wheels. I would think, that 10 years later, the process would have improved. Don't know, but I would never have chrome wheels again.

I do know, that cast wheels are the most iffy to chrome and forged the best, because of the hardness of the surface.
