Default No Clearance to Tighten Lug Nuts

I bought a spare set of wheels, which are XXR 521, and my current tuner lug nuts are too thick. The luck nut does fit but barely, so the socket definetley doesn't.

Can anyone recommend me what kind of lug nuts I need?

They keys on the R40 lugs are slim, but if you're on a budget, you can get some gorilla lug nuts from discount tire for 20 bucks.

For lug nuts you are restricted on size. Some openings in the wheels are tight. The solution is a long or extended nut - no need to put the socket inside the hole in the wheel.

There is also a thin-walled socket set for wheels. These sockets may also have a protective plastic coating.

17 mm skinny lugs are going to be your run of the mill socket lugs ..

all these nice extended lugs are anywhere from 20-26mm wide seats on them.. wont even work on my forgestars.

Look on ebay and only buy the ones that look like ratchet sockets. Those are usually .89 in, 17mm or so.
It sucks, yes, but it is what it is.

Most quality lugs come with their own longer socket, or as davidv pointed out you can just pickup an extended socket from your local store/online retailer
