The tires are but not the rims.

18" are 8 and 8 (Performance/Touring 6MT)
18" are 8 and 8 1/2 (Track Model)

Westpak is rite...

I think when the Z's first came out, most of the tire shops were *given* the wrong infromation and were told that they are 8 front 8.5 rear, when that is actually the Track Rays specs. But Touring/Performance 18 inchers come in all 8" front and rear.

Actually, this is precisely why I am wondering why AAA Rims charge different prices for front and rear even though they are the same ones!! I think they made a mistake or actually two mistakes. First mistake is that they charged different prices even though they are the same size wheels. The other mistake is that they charge $50/wheel more for the FRONT than the rear. WOuld you think the rear would be more expensive if they had mistaken the rear wheels to be wider?

Anyway, if you are puchasing wheels from them, just get 4 rear ones and save yourself some $$. (BTW, they have the same exact pricing on the Track wheels.)

Are the offsets the same front to rear on the performance 18x8 wheels? If they are diffeent, that might account for the different front and rear 18x8 wheel prices.

Actually, that's a good point. Does someone know the answer to this? This may solve my AAA Rims mystery. Thanks!

So my owner's manual is wrong on my Performance? Reads 8" front and 8.5" rear. Build date is Feb. 2003.

the 18s are the same width, but the back has 245 width tires and the front has 225 tires.
