Best track tire size for my g35 coupe?
I have a chance to get some 18x8 volk that come with 265/35/18 Kumho ECSTA V700 tires front and rear for $1000. Is this a good price? The owner had this setup on his 350z for autocross and track. Will I run problems with ABS. Is the diameter correct? I thought it was best to have the rear wider then the front and I remember my stock 18s have a 45 profile. Thanks for your help
BTW, I'm running HKS coilovers LS (daily driver) and will go on tracks ocassionally.

that's a great set-up for an 18" track package... and a really good price... the only thing that would concern me is putting a 265 tire on an 8" wide wheel, if it were me, I'd want a 9" wheel.
I use Enkei RPO2J 17x9 with 274/40-17 Yokohama AO32R for the track and I have no problems associated with ABS or VDC or tire rubbing on the car...
Before buying what I have now, I was also considering OZ Superleggera in 18x9 with 265/35-18 Michelin Pilot Sport Cups.
Hope that helps...

Another setup would be the MB Motorsports Competition wheels (17 x 9) and the Nitto 555R II tires in 275-45-17. Total price is about $1400 from www.discounttiredirect.com
