BMW 7 series to 350Z wheel and tire help, PLEASE...
I've seen a few pictures with the BMW 750 19" concave wheels installed on 350Z's and I thought it looked great. I found a real nice set of take offs with excellent oem rubber $1300 and purchased 20mm hubcentric adaptors $285 to make them fit the Z, (about as thin as you can get) I brought the wheels in for black powder coat $350 and just had my TPMS put in with road force ballance and installed $180. All 4 wheels stuck out to far and would have rubbed if I drove, what can I do to make them work? I have stock suspension and really don't want to roll my fenders or alter the car. I was told instead of the 20mm adaptors I can have the wheels redrilled, and use stretched tires? Can anyone confirm this please, the numbers on the wheels are,
Fronts 19x9 24 offset +20mm adaptor, tires 245 45 19
Rears 19x10 24 offset +20mm adaptor, tires 275 40 19
I'm not looking to spend more money on tires and drilling (im in over $2K already) only to find out it still won't work. Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

redrill and install the proper tires , or install lame looking stretched tires and add loads of camber with a drop.
Reading about and understanding wheels and wheel offset would have helped you out a lot.

Its no biggie I always knew I could dump the wheels and tires for $1500 to any 7 series owner, the Yokohama Advan's are $1200 alone and new oem matte black wheels I'm sure they will sell. The adaptors are always good to have. Lesson learned.

You should have done your research... You have to pay to play... And as far as getting $1500 for the wheels and tires, try again... Yes those tires are expensive, but they are still used, and those wheels are going for 350-400 tops and the new color is only going to limit your market...
With that said, Just get the fenders rolled, it will be worth it in the long run if you ever decide to lower your car and get a more aggressive wheel or meaty tire...

forget about getting 1500.00 for those. you always think that way untill you try to sell only to find out they are worth far less and getting a buyer is another problem. there are a lot of better options when it comes to wheels for the Z. no need to go through all that hassle. it is not too late. spend time in the wheels and tires section and learn more
You're going to need to get smaller adaptors or you will have to run alot of camber
Given that you don't want to modify your fendors or anything else you should just sell this setup and look for something more conservative

Wait...WUT!!!???? You're talking about the style 95's, right? The same 7 series wheels that EVERYONE who has a G/Z that gets these has, right? Spacers and adapters and PADOW!!!!! You're done. Depending on your back spacing, you may need a SLIGHT pull, but I know of a few people that have had them and only required that. And they're slammered. I'd need to see some pics of what you got going on to specifically know what you're doing wrong, but I've tested fitted them on my G (may even pick up a pair) and they're easy-peasy plug-n-play for the most part.
Also, just so you know, you may have been slightly effed in the A on that price. I mean, I guess that's solid WITH tires, but I've seen these consistantly in the $700-$900 range. But, whatevs.
Seriously, get some pics. These aren't rocket science fitment.

just roll your fenders its not even hard and no one will ever know, its not altering the car its the way they should of came in the first place. all the new G car such as g37 come rolled from the factory and maybe the new 370z's do as well but not sure.
try a 15mm adaptor or 225/35 up front and 245/35 on the rears. or both. not sure why there is such an issue as i have seen a set with more aggressive fitment work with not much if any fender work with the car being dumped. especially since you are on stock suspension.
Thanks for all the input, most has been helpful. It seems to be the tires that are the main issue, the 7 series tires that came with the wheels are just to big. From what I'm being told by members who are running this setup I would need to run a lower profile tire that is also slightly narrower, not really stretched but not as wide as the Bimmer tires.
The only way I would buy new tires is if someone here that has this setup can confirm it will work with my 20mm adaptors. I spoke with Dylan, he was running these in white on his white Z before he sold it, he had even wider spacers and very stretched tires. I might just scrap it and just order a setup off the shelf.
