Default Bent Wheel

I hit a big rock and the inner side of the rim got bent.
The tire guy balanced the wheel fine though. Would this cause premature tire wear and vibration?

Did it cause the tire to have a untrue run out? If runout is still true and there is no air loss causing under inflation and it balanced then no problem. There are people who repair wheels if you want. Search alloy wheel repair on the net. Had some Boyd wheels repaired several years ago, that were on a 34 ford street rod, and couldn't believe how well it turned out.

It should be okay in terms of additional tire wear, but you get a bit more vibration here or there.

You should try to have it repaired.

op, i would be worried about loosing air. not so much the balancing. but...if you run proper size tires on those wheels the rock would of never bent the wheel, just saying.

I hooked a concret barrier at the local mall parking lot bent the front right rim . I had it repaired at a metel shop , it would not balance properly ...I ended up going online and ordering a replacement stock rim .

Depending on how severely the wheel was bent this will cause a fair amount of vibration

Most shops can repair the bend for around $100, just get it done and then get an appropriately sized tire after or this will keep happening

thanks guys for replies.
i don't regret getting rid of bicycle tires haha. 215 -> 235 is a BIG difference in traction ahah. But i still like the bicycle tires look though haha
