Yup, I'm enroute....I've seen the scene is huge in Florida!
Sorry for misleading anyone, just hate the blatant copy of parts! If I had the ability to make a wheel at an affordable price. I wouldn't be making reps. People will still buy cheap wheels, nothing wrong with that!
I ran my painted stockers with spacers for years before I could swallowed the big boy pill.
Either way in for specs and pricing

I'd rather not rock reps, but I can honestly find better things to spend my money on then going for the real deal to get the same looks...when it comes to that. Yes, I'm sacrificing some quality (and to be honest, I haven't heard much bad about Varrstoen, aside from people being bashed on for having them), but I'd rather spend the money I'd save buying reps on track fees, excellent tires, other mods, etc...I live next to NJMP, and I see people out there all the time, including the Porsche Guys, running the track on reps. It's cheaper to get the wheel size you want, leaves more money aside for other things, and eliminates the worry of ruining an expensive set of Volks and the likes, lol. To each his own, right? Personally, I've always like the looks of Work Meisters, so this might be a more practical solution for people like myself.

I don't understand why people buy knock-off/fake wheels like these. Is it just because they're cheap as dirt and only copy the appearance of the real thing? There's no difference between these things and plastic brembo caliper covers. I'm pretty sure anybody who bought caliper covers and posted them here would get laughed off the internet, but for some reason these rip offs are cool? I could see if the wheel you wanted was no longer offered by the original manufacturer and the used market had no offerings. Fine, buy a replica. But there's so many other affordable wheel options out there that make it unnecessary to get rip offs. Or maybe I'm just getting old and hanging on to the old way of doing things. If something is worth having, it's worth working hard to save up for and buy it. I guess there's folks out there can't accept that some things are expensive and require effort to obtain and it's quicker/not worth striving for so they buy knock offs and call it a day lol. To each his own indeed.

That having been said I agree that there is an argument for it and against it. My argument is that if I really want a set of Volks or SSR's for their performance characteristics then I will buy the Volks or SSR's b/c they are generally lighter and arguably stronger wheels, the stronger part is only from what I have seen on various forums as far as vehicles that have had both brands and the issues they had under similar conditions. In my case I drive the car daily, I don't track it, and the minor differences I would see in MY day to day use do NOT outweigh the fact that I would be paying about three times as much for them. On top of it the fact that should something happen, it is much less costly for me to replace as well.

lol you did not just compare wheels in which your car travels on to plastic caliper covers which have nothing to do with stopping

What's the difference? It's something pretending be something it's not. It's a pretty face on a pile of turd lol. That's what caliper covers are and the same goes for rip offs. They are in no way functionally comparative to the real thing.

It's funny when you walk up to people n ask if there te37"s are reps or real? Or any other replica wheel that looks identical to the real ones. The satisfaction that Varrstoens cant replicate aggressive offsets lol
the lip size isn't going to be past the 4" mark lol. If anything 4.75 I think . So I'm still sitting pretty with my sp1"s
(4" front lip n 6.5" rear lip)- can't replicate sorry
