BMW wheels on my 350Z
So Cal has some of the worst roads I have driven on, and I have had no issues w/my 35 series sidewalls like was said.......I guess the extra ground clearance would be good in your area, or something like this:
That looks like trukfit. Actually, truck fit. SUPER meaty tires make the wheels look extra small and your rideI height doesn't help. I mean, overall, the wheels ain't bad. I just don't like how you put all that together.
Your offset calculation is wrong.
OEM Anniversary wheels are 18x8.5 +33 in the rear.
The wheels in question are 18x9.5 +18.
A 18x9.5 +33 would sit 13mm closer to the fender than the OEM anniversary wheel. Adjusting for +18 offset places the edge another 15mm closer to the fender. The wheel without any spacer would sit 28mm closer to the fender than the OEM wheel.
Adding a 25mm spacer to the OEM wheel, the new wheel still sits 3mm closer to the fender than the OEM wheel with spacer.
For the fronts, 18x8 +30 (OEM), 18x8 +12(new wheels). A 7-8mm spacer will be fine to match the OEM wheels with 25mm spacer.

**UPDATE**
I went ahead and swapped out the rear tires for a set of 295/35/18 I moved the 255's that were originally in the rear to the front. I was on a budget and could not afford a front set of appropriate sized tires to match the rears. I* also removed all of the spacers. However after I swapped out the rears I noticed that I had a 10ft wheel gap between the fender and tire . So I went ahead and order a set of even lower lowering springs to take care of that. below is the results. hopefully next month I'll have the funds to invest in the correct front tire sizes and a set of coilovers to drop the car even more
