Default BMW wheels on my 350Z

NO!!! It's not a question about if they will fit or has anyone done it. I recently got a smoking deal on a set of style 37 BMW wheels aka M-Parallels.I Know some people have done the style 95 wheels on Z's before but I have yet to see anyone do a set of M-pars. I tried a forum search but to no avail. Anyways back to the topic on hand after a bit of research I found out the specs on the wheels. They are 18x8 +12mm fronts and 18x9.5 +18mm rear and are a one piece forged aluminum wheels. They are either made by BBS or Fuch. Fuch if you didn't know makes alot of OEM wheels for BMW and Porsche. They also made the wheels for the F40 and F50. They weigh about 20lbs each. When it comes to wheels and fitment I am completely retarded, so I did some asking around and I found that I would need a 15mm spacer in the rear and maybe a 5mm in the front to get them to fit flush with the fender like my OEM anniversary wheels with 25mm spacers. Unfortunately the smallest reasonably priced adapters I could find where 32mm and would have poked the wheels out like a mexican truck. I did some thinking and I remembered that some guy had a set of benz wheels "redrilled" to fit his E36. I did some calling around and found a place locally called Wheel Specialist. They were able to redrill the BMW wheels from a 5x120 to the 5x114.3 that I needed. To be honest I had no idea what they were going to do. I thought I was going to have my wheels look like they had a universal lug pattern like XXR wheels. They called me back a day later and told me they were ready for pick up. I looked at the face of the wheel and there were no signs of machining or drilling on the wheel. I looked at the back side and I found that they inserted aluminum plugs into the original lug holes and drilled into those plugs to fit my bolt pattern. After further inspection I saw that they made the inside of the original holes a bit wider to accept a smaller lug pattern. Overall I was very impressed with the the quality of the work and the speed they did it. I mounted the wheels to the car with my 25mm spacers and below are the end results. Let me know what you think.

I like them I'm not a fan of bigger wheels. I like to have some meat on my car in case i hit a gnarly pothole or if I get too friendly with a curb. Thanks for your input tho. I am open to criticism.

Your tire choices are not ideal:

lol im not about low and slow. I drive the car hard and I would like some extra cushion on the wheel to prevent damage. also tires for 18's are cheaper then 19's and 20's

18s are fine. were talking about the tire sizes. make sure you get 255/40 for the front.

thats why we are here to help. if you plan on getting 285-40 for the rear. make sure you go 255-40 for the front.

imo, a 275-40 tire will fit the rear wheel size better.

well, you will be hard pressed to tell the difference between the look of a 275 and a 285. 10mm is less then the width of your pinky. if you want a fat tire. look at 305 or wider.

Are you at stock ride height? And I drive my car fairly hard....I have 35 series sidewall and that's plenty for me. Your set up looks like you have big down pillow filled wheels. As long as you like it tho.

I am not a fan either but it's not my car so if they make you happy that's all that matters. My only suggestion would be to look at 30 or 35's sidewall size when you are in need of new tires, those things you have on now are huge. I drive on some pretty shtty roads and have 35's and I have no issues at all.
