TPMS question after re-learn procedure
I have a 2006 350z roadster I purchased from the insurance company. It was a theft recovery so i don't know the history on the wheels. There not OEM unfortunately. They appear to have TPMS sensors as the valve stems are all hard like the TPMS sensors that come stock.
I tried the re-learn procedure were you ground the wire, set the different pressures. The light started blinking as it should. I drove it for about 20 minutes at speeds well over 30mph. The light never stopped blinking, I never heard a beep or anything.
Shall I assume the TPMS sensors in the wheels are bad or possibly the wrong ones?
the wheels are XXR 526
I would like to know if there is anyway to know if OEM sensors will work in these wheels?
Does anyone have a suggestion of a better TPMS sensor to use other than the OEM sensor.
Does anyone know the OEM part number of the TPMS sensor for a 2006?
Any help would be appreciated.
