Default Snow Tire Help

I am planning on getting snow tires b/c, well it snows a lot up here and I need to drive my car. Is it ok if I just get the snow tires for the rear wheels? How will this effect the functionality of the snow tires. Since this is a rear wheel drive car, do I need to change the front tires to snow tires as well??

thanks in advance.

Some ppl do get tires only for the rear on rwd cars but I dont recommend it.

Your car may understeer a lot more since your front tires wont have the grip in the turns. I always recommend ppl get 4 snow tires, in a nutshell your car needs front traction for controlling the car and rear traction for any type of movement.

With just rear snows you'll have traction but the fun will begin when you attempt to turn.

Yep, snows on back will give you traction. But without snows on the front, you won't be able to stop or turn.
