yeah my rear camber was def out of spec when lowered. once i got the spc arms and was able to stand the wheel up, it needed a rolling. makes sense now.

I would try to stick with 40 series considering you'll be able to keep the same oem tire diameters.. Just get your fenders rolled flat. That's how it should've been done in the first place.

Worst advice ever. The tire you need to 35 series would be 285, 295 or 305's. if he already has a problem with rubbing on the fender lip, it will rub even more with a wider tire.

Why would he have to get a wider tire to run a 35 series? You can run a 275/35/18

If he goes to a 35 series down from a 40 it may be all he needs. His sidewalls may be a tad too high and causing him to rub, hence dropping to a 35 series.

Add negative camber or get your fenders rolled better.

275/35/18 is a lot shorter tire than the stock 245/45/18 or 275/40/18.

I run 285 35 18 slammed. No problems. I'd never run 40 again unless I had chit offset wheels

Fenders are rolled, probably gonna have them rerolled again but flat this time and add some more camber..

Just to clarify it only rubs when the car flexes to a side hard (bad roads), its okay for about 90% of the time.

So? Lots of people run 35 series. As long as they are 35 series front and back there should be no problem.

This is making me a bit nervous. Purchasing 18x10.5 +15 offset, 285/35/18 tires. Will I rub if lowered/fenders rolled? Should I go with the +22?

No need, i run 285/35-18 on 10.5 +10 (after spacer) on mine , no rub at all in the back. My front does slightly rub with the 285 on a 10.5 +15

No one bothered to mention that tire brand and model greatly affect the overall profile of the tire

Some brands will have a taller tire, others have a wider tire

OP what brand are you running?

I don't understand your response, how would a 35 series rub more than a 40?

Come on man, work with me

I wouldn't bother with fixing anything for a little time (as long as you're not damaging your rear tires)

Every situation is different as this thread shows, so many other factors like tire brand, fender rolling quality, and tire brand/specific model
