I bought my Z recently and I was lucky enough to have genuine volk gtf's come with it. Problem is, the previous owner curb rashed all of them. I was thinking...since I'm gonna take them off for winter, I was considering having the curb rash repaired and then powder coating them. For the price that'll cost me I could be well on my way to a nice set of VMR's. What do you guys think? Fix and powder(if so, color suggestions on a silver Z), or sell them and get brand new wheels instead? I like having the gtf's because they're awesome, well made wheels with a lot of prestige, I just can't decide if it's worth it to fix them.

Id them fixed without a doubt since VMRs don't even come close to Volks. Id honestly rather have rashed up GTFs than brand new VMRs.

Thats what im leaning towards. I read that PCing any rays are dangerous due to the way they're produced...so that's something to look into more.

+1 on keeping the Volks! I'd say VMR's are a step down, at least if you really care about brands. I had my CE28's powder coated and didnt have an issue

Low temperature powder coat should be fine for forged wheels, I just did my oem forged rays.
